Will I still get high-level guidance online?

Absolutely. My work blends deep listening and somatic presence and decades of experience - 30+ years of teaching violin and 25 years performing with top-tier orchestras. That level of refinement and attunement doesn't disappear online. In fact, many students are surprised by how much clarity, nuance, and momentum can be gained even through a screen.

How often are lessons?

Most students choose to meet weekly or biweekly, depending on their goals, availability, and personal circumstances. Some prefer a regular rhythm for continuity, while others schedule sessions more spaciously to allow for deeper integration between meetings. We'll collaborate to find a pace that honors both your learning and your life.

How Much Do Lessons Cost?

Lessons are $85 for a 60-minute private session. 90-minute sessions are available for those who want more time to explore, integrate, or deepen.

What platform is used for lessons?

Most sessions are held on Zoom. If sound quality needs a boost, we can supplement with Cleanfeed - an audio enhancement platform used by musicians and broadcasters. It's easy to use and helps preserve the detail of your tone and phrasing.

How do I schedule a lesson?

Once you reach out through the contact information on this site, we'll connect by email or phone to find a mutually good time. I teach a limited number of students to ensure individualized attention, so availability may vary slightly week to week. Flexibility and communication are part of what make these lessons responsive and human-centered.

Do I need a strong internet connection?

Yes - sound quality matters deeply in music, and a stable internet connection is essential for meaningful lessons. You don't need top-tier speeds, but you do need a reliable signal that supports clear audio and video. If your connection tends to freeze, lag, or distort, it will limit what we can accomplish.

I'm not a tech expert, but I can offer some basic suggestions if needed. Ultimately the goal is to create a learning space where we can listen, respond and grow - without being interrupted by technology that's not holding up its end of the bargain.
